Sending love from Michigan

I'm sorry our country has let you down. I'm sorry our government can't work together in memory of all of the innocent people who died, to prevent something like this from ever happening again. I'm sorry for the ignorant people who say horrible and insensitive things and who value the ability to purchase weapons anywhere, anytime, more than they value the lives of Americam children. I will look at every picture tomorrow, and read every name. I will hug my children closer and hope, with every fiber of my soul, that the violence that has infiltrated our schools, doesn't take one of them from me. You are not forgotten. We are grieving for you, and with you. Just like 9/11, I'll never forget where I was when I heard. I'm so sorry for your losses. You're in my heart as you mark this first, difficult, anniversary.
