I was in Denison, TX the day the movie Les Miserables was released on DVD. I of course had to go to the nearest WalMart and buy my copy. As I was checking out, the young cashier said how she had wanted to see the movie. I had my son run back and grab another copy bought it and told it was for her. She was so happy and had then told me her birthday was that weekend. I also gave her a Sandy Hook angels pin.
My oldest son is part of an anti bullying group in his school. I had him ask the teacher who is in charge of the group for the names of some of the kids most bullied in the school. She gave him the name of one boy. We went out tonight and bought him a gift certificate for our local movie theater good for admission for 2, 2 sodas and a medium popcorn. We plan to give it to him on Friday since the 14th falls on Saturday.
