NEWTOWN- This past weekend Newtown and the Cultural Arts Commission hosted it’s very first Arts Festival at Fairfield Hills. Vendors and exhibitors from across town and the state packed Fairfield Hills to showcase and sell their goods. Amongst the vendors, the Arts committee created a community corner where the Mitch Bolinsky for Newtown campaign was invited to set up.
Mitch Bolinsky is running for the 106th open State Representative seat, previously held by Christopher Lyddy and Julia Wasserman.
“As a November candidate to represent Newtown as State Representative and the only candidate to actually be an event sponsor, I was flattered at the hundreds of warm welcomes and wishes for success the M4N team received at our position in the Community Corner” Bolinsky said. “As a former marketing director and event planner, I respect the amount of work that went into this event and its smooth execution.”
“The event was a terrific backdrop to bring thousands of people together and prove, once again, how much nicer it can be in Newtown. Congratulations to the Cultural Arts Commission and every volunteer whose extraordinary organization and execution brought this new event to to life.”
