Dear Newtown, "A Life-Giving Garden" the fate of Sandy Hook Elementary

26 CT STATE WHITE OAK trees planted in a circle on the playground of Sandy Hook representing each victim with a "Life-Giving Garden" of peace and reflection!

26 CT. State trees tall and strong planted in a circle of unity...the WHITE OAK!

By each oak tree a ceramic bench for the families to reflect their lost one.

The white oak, is a grand tribute to the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary...they will grow magnificently. By each ceramic bench an artist could engrave the name of the child or care provider with an engraved picture of the beloved one, as well.

The place: the playground of the school...were the children gathered to play, run, laugh and be free!

In the center of the circle of grand white oak trees could be a pond, of marine life...children love gold fish and a little water foundation running always, flowing continuous life! There could be other playground equipment as the community see appropriate for the victims siblings to play and just be near their sister, brother or mother that passed.

Many seasonal flowers could be planted as well...making it the "MOST BEAUTIFUL LIFE-GIVING GARDEN" and PARK of reflection for all...but especially: a healing balm of comfort and a gathering place for the victims families...for they all share a common ground for eternity! Maybe, there could be a little walking bridge over the small pond or place the walking bridge somewhere else in the refection garden, as felt best?

I feel deeply in my heart, that the children passed on December 14, 2012 and care providers would be honored and over-joyed with such a tribute!

They are all together in heaven now and I believe, if such a place would be designed on the playground of Sandy Hook Elementary...the families, friends and beyond would come and pay homage.

And without a shadow of a doubt, if we would just sit quietly enough for a minute ...we would hear the laughter of the children and it would bring ultimate togetherness and unity and most of all bring peace and closure for all of us, in God's healing time.

Make Sandy Hook Elementary's playground a reflection garden with the core of 26 WHITE OAK trees representing each victim and plant them in the formation of a circle! Keeping in mind, they start out small the oak trees, when planted and distance must be made in consideration as they grow through the years...but it can be done and I know beautifully...and with such a rainbow of colors in the fall, CT., beaming to the heavens!

Think about it...a reflecting "Life-Giving Garden" for the fate of Sandy Hook Elementary's playground.

Best Wishes...Sincerely yours...

I think it's a great idea Mary!

Thank U David!
With all the ideas given, I think a survey should be drawn up from the town's officials and the number one input should be the consideration on the victims families and the remaining students of SHS. The school itself, could be torn down and the "Living Pond" place over the site where the tragedy occured. A "Little School House" built out of marble with the school's name on it with maybe a statue of the principal by the entrance?

I called the Secor Road number - no answer. Laura Dorr, on FB, just listed Norma withRead More lostmydoggie.com. They call all folks in local area and alert (I've already gotten a call!); then they send faxes out to vets and animal control in surrounding areas. You can contact me or Laura Dorr on FB.
