'I Just Want You To Know', song for Sandy Hook

'I Just Want You To Know'.. a simple song from the heart of a father deeply moved by the Newtown tragedy.

I Just Want You To Know

In memoriam to the victims of the Newtown Tragedy

Where are you

my little one

caught at the end of a

madman's gun

Just another day

at Sandy Hook

to play, to sing

to read a book

Oh, my Little One

I miss you so

and this sad-ness falls

like silent snow

and the rain will come

and the wind will blow

and I love you

I just want you to know

We had come

to this New Town

to raise our kids

to settle down

Seems we hear your voice

in our backyard

please give me strength

this is very hard

Now I must go on

without you now

though it seems to me

I don't know how

This ache in me

will never cease

until I find

my final peace
