Giavanna Dentice, 11 months, won the Beautiful Baby Contest that was on display at the Sandy Hook Lobsterfest and the Stop & Shop Supermarket, Sand Hill Plaza. You will see Giavanna and her parents, Mary and Frank, riding in a chaffeur-driven convertible provided by Mercedes of Danbury in Newtown's Labor Day Parade. This contest was a fundraiser to help soldiers who are returning home severely wounded. Giavanna's photo raised the most amount of money for the national non-profit "Homes For Our Troops".
