A Song for Sandy Hook and Newtown, CT, from LisaBeth Weber in New Hope, PA

LisaBeth Weber, a songwriter from New Hope, PA, wrote "ALL THE ANGELS" after the school shooting. Sent from the heart and in dedication to all in Newtown, CT, and all who are grieving.

Dear Newtown, I wrote this song the day after the shooting when I was struggling to understand. It's called ALL THE ANGELS. I hope it helps in some small way. I'm enclosing the words here as well. Thank you to Newtown Patch for inviting me to post this blog.

Feel free to share the song in your circles.

Our collective universal hearts are with you.

How do you know what to say, when there are no words at all
How do you know when it's time to see the writing on the wall
What is left when the tears are washed away
How do you tell someone someone won't be comin' back today

We need all the angels
We need all the angels
We need all the angels
to pray

Why are there guns in so many hands, is the right to bear arms worth the cost
To the republic, for which it stands, how many more will be lost
What is left when the innocence is gone
With the families and humanity finding ways to carry on

They need all the angels
They need all the angels
They need all the angels
to pray

I'm not a prayin' woman on most any other day,
but my heart is with the children that I'm prayin' for today

I need all the angels
I need all the angels
I need all the angels
to pray
