My Beautiful Town

A song from children of Newtown Recorded Dec 22, 2012

My Beautiful Town

Through this long winter night
we shall lift up this light
through the rain, snow, and tears
through this sorrow and fear
there's a path to be found
holy ground

There are signs along the way
there is music to be played
and the air we breathe in
this is where we begin
there's no map, but we are bound
on holy ground

Let the snow fall again
I'll be with you my friend
and though slowly comes the Spring
time will turn, and time will bring
bring us all, all around,
holy ground
my beautiful town
my beautiful town

My heart is with all of those who should be awakening to the pitter-patter of little feet on this Christmas morn. If there is anything I can do today for you and your family please let me know. I am here for you with a hand to hold, a listening ear, a hug, and a prayer. I will do anything for you today. I have a loving dog I can bring with me who is very therapeutic. Don't hesitate to take me up on the offer. I have many years of experience dealing with children as a teacher and would love to help. ...

The world has reached out to our little town with generosity, love, prayers and untold acts of kindness. I recieved a beautiful Christmas card from a complete stranger in O'Fallon, IL wishing our famiily well. We can't thank you ALL enough. 26 Acts of kindness is a great starting point. ...Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me...

We can do it, all together as a team in this world and make an awarness of "Randon Acts of Kindness". And every act of kindness can be in memory of Sandy Hook with a simple tap of OUR hearts. Even at the most darkest storm...somehow a rainbow seems to come and with it comes peace, healing and the start of new life... with hope and even a stronger faith. We all walk with you every single step of the way Newtown, CT! This is a beautiful tribute to a beautiful town! `Mary!
