Newtown Houses Sold: South Main Street, Wills Road, Marlin Road, Orchard Hill Road, Grand Place

The following information came from warrantee deeds filed in the Newtown Town Clerk's Office.


The Newtown Town Clerk recorded the following warrantee deeds during the week of Sept. 19 to Sept. 26.

John Mead and Nicole Buxton sold .468 acres on South Main Street identified on Par M1 Map 8138 on Sept. 19 for $12,100. Volume 1017, pages 521-523.

Edward Roche sold Wills Road Lot 3, Newtown Park, South Center District, on map 2176, 2073 to David Kowatch and Diana Kowatch for $300,000.

Carlos Aponte and Theresa Aponte sold Marlin Road Lot 47, map 7424 on Sept. 21 to Joseph Manning and Angela Manning for $550,000. Volume 1017, pages 627-628.

Jeffrey Boni and Leni Boni sold Orchard Hill Road, Parcel 2, map 3645-4203, on Sept. 21 to Pedro Regalado-Vidal for $306,000. Volume 1017, pages 653-654.

Philip Barackman and Deborah Barackman sold Grand Place Lot 8 on Sept. 21 to Edward J. Kaufman III and Jennifer Labate for $395,000. Volume 1017, pages788-789.

I believe the 'warrantee' referred to in land transfers is this definition: "Warrantee: the person to whom a warranty is made." I actually had to look it up myself, Claudia, because I was only aware of warranty spelled with a "y." Learn something new every day, as they say!
