This past week the Girl’s Varsity Tennis team had two fun matches. They played Stratford High School on Wednesday, April 11th at home and Notre Dame-Fairfield away on Friday the 13th.
Both teams displayed excellend sportsmenship. These were the third and fourth matches of the season so far. Annie Beier a sophmore said “I really enjoy playing girls from a different school and seeing their home courts. They were really nice.”
The girls won all seven matches against each team. Although these aren’t the toughest matches of the season wining helped their mental game. The team is working towards a South Western Championship this year. Their on their way if they continue to play the way they did. This season the team looks very strong and if things keep going the way they are a championship may be within reach!
