Immaculate...What a Day!

Th Newtown Girls High School tennis team beats Immaculate HS 7-0.

This past Wednesday, April 25th NHS Girl's Varsity Tennis played Immaculate High School at Rogers Park in Danbury. Once again the girls won 7-0!  With this win they remain undefeated! The team's mental game is getting stronger. This is the best way to be heading into one of the biggest matches of the season coming up (Fairfield- Ludlowe). Coach Maher and Assistant Coach Frazzetta are very excited about the win! But with all this winning it was time for a little celebrating.

It's a Newtown Girls Tennis tradition to go to Sycamore's after the Bethel or Immaculate match. This year after the match the team was in high spirits after the win and ready to eat. The popular orders were Root Beer floats, milkshakes, and the famous Dagwood burger. Almost everyone stated that this is one of their favorite moments of the year. Everyone sits at one big table and enjoys each others company. The girls can't wait until next year! Here is our line-up and results. Let's go Nighthawks!
