Newtown's Victim's Dreams of an Animal Shelter Becoming Reality

State close to transferring 34 acres of land to Catherine's foundation.

Catherine Violet Hubbard had always dreamed of having an animal shelter in her hometown of Newtown.
Well it appears that dream is going to become a reality as the state is close to conveying 34.4 acres of state owned land in Newtown to the Catherine Violet Hubbard Foundation, the Associated Press reports.
Hubbard was one of 20 children killed in the Sandy Hook School shooting.
The shelter will include an adoption center for cats and dogs and a refuge for farm animals, the Associated Press reports.
