TOM, DICK and HARRY at Town Players

Continuing a long-standing tradition, Town Players is pleased to announce the opening of another fast-paced British farce, TOM, DICK AND HARRY on Saturday, September 14. (The show is opening on a Saturday due to the observance of Yom Kippur on September 13.)

In this hilarious tale of three brothers, Tom Kerwood (Nick Kaye, Bethel) and his wife Linda (Angela Bowman, Carmel NY) are preparing to adopt a baby. Naturally, they are anxious to impress Mrs. Potter from the adoption agency (Barbara Disraeli, Brewster NY), who is due to inspect their home and lifestyle to confirm they will make suitable parents. Unfortunately for the couple, Tom's brothers Dick (Christopher Cooney, Monroe) and Harry (Bob Filipowich, Fairfield) complicate matters with Dick's stash of contraband liquor and cigarettes and Harry's bag of body parts littering the home. Add to that a gaggle of political refugees and Tom and Linda's dreams of parenthood threaten to come crashing down around them.

The talented cast is rounded out by Kiersten Henry (Brewster NY), Daniel J. Mulvihill, Jr. (Bethel), Stephen Ross (New Milford) and Tom Torpey (Stratford).

Written by the masters of British farce Ray Cooney and his son Michael, TOM, DICK AND HARRY is guided by the sure-handed direction of Gene Golaszewski (Brookfield). In addition to Golaszewski, the production crew includes producers Lynn Alexander (Southbury) and Tracy Nashel (Newtown), stage manager Christine Mitchell (Southbury), lighting designer Nick Kaye and set designer/builder Timothy Huebenthal (Southbury).

Curtain times are 8 PM Fridays and Saturdays, with 2 PM Sunday matinees on September 15, 22 & 29. NOTE: Friday, September 20 and Friday, October 4 are sold-out benefit performances.

Tickets are $20; $15 matinees.
