TEDxManhattan "Changing the Way We Eat" Live on Bank St., New Milford

On March 1st, a live viewing party for this year's TEDxManhattan "Changing the Way We Eat" conference will take place in New Milford on Bank Street.  This all-day conference features a dynamic and diverse group of speakers addressing issues in the sustainable food and farming movement.  The event organizer is Makery — a new community organization who's mission is to instigate creativity and collaboration in order to catalyze innovation and small business growth in Western Connecticut.

As the main event takes place in New York City, Makery be live-streaming the sessions at two Bank Street locations:  the office of Miles Finch Innovation (14 Bank St., 2nd Floor) and the Bank Street Theater.  Please visit www.makeryct.com for more information, a detailed agenda, and a list of speakers.  The format is an open-house style, meaning folks can come for as long as they want or pop-in for a couple of speakers.

Local restaurants, food businesses and community groups with interest in this topic are invited to participate by offering attendees special promotions or discounts.
