Pet Aesthetics and The Cheshire Cat and Dog, Too will be collecting donations of new or gently
used dog coats and toys for both cats and dogs that will be distributed to
needy pets in the Greater Waterbury area.Donations may be dropped off at either Pet Aesthetics, 134 Main Street South, Southbury or The Cheshire Cat and Dog, Too,1320 Waterbury Road (RT70), Cheshire.
With the cold weather upon us, there are many pets that
are in need of a warm coat for winter walks. Any used coats or toys that
are donated will be laundered, disinfected and repaired if needed before being
distributed to area pets,” states Susan Marucci, owner of Pet
Aesthetics. “It is extremely challenging to get your pet adequate exercise
during the winter months. By providing different toys to play with a
pet can continue to keep the mind and body active” commented Heather
