Lions 4th Annual Great Pumpkin Race

The 4th Annual Great Pumpkin Race Will Be Held Behind Edmond Town Hall

The Newtown Lions invite everyone to come to the 4th Annual Great Pumpkin Race in the parking lot behind Edmond Town Hall.  This event is fun for the whole family and features activities for all age groups.  The main events will be the pumpkin races and the pumpkin decoration contests but there will also be a treasure hunt in a haystack, bobbing for apples, pumpkin bowling, a ring-toss game and a number of other games and activities sponsored by community organizations and local businesses.

The entries for the pumpkin race are decorated pumpkins mounted on wheels.  The only requirement is that the axles must go through the pumpkin.  Contestants can build their own racer or can purchase one from the Lions.

There will be contests for the best decorated, scariest and funniest pumpkin.  The same pumpkin can be entered in the pumpkin race and the decorating contest.
