is winding down. Mark the end of our
first week of school with one of Newtown’s
sweetest summertime treats. Savor it in the summer sun, then rest in the shade
of our beautiful 20’ lighthouse, made with love for Newtown’s children.
Joining us in the effort will be some of our partners in spreading
friendship and love. Newtown Acts of Kindness will be serving up care in the
form of free lemonade and lemonade stand kits. Alongside them will be A Bead of Roses, Connecticut Music Therapy, Emerald Sketch
Art Therapists, Ben’s Bells and Cody Foss representing the REACH program. Some
familiar furry faces will be will be about waiting some good petting and any
ice cream that might be dripping close by. Many of Newtown’s dignitaries and celebrities will be
on hand to assist with all of your ice cream scooping needs. Look for your
favorite coaches, teachers, clergy and more.
Plenty of ice cream, crafts and music for all. Newtown Jugglers will be there to amaze and amuse. Build a lighthouse, sing a song, hug a friend—all while enjoying free Ferris Acres ice cream.
