The Language of Love: Paper Heart Project

 Newtown  See map

Be an ambassador of LOVE and PEACE.  Make a paper heart in a different language!

Newtown children have received so much love and support from children across the state and now it’s time to share the words of LOVE and PEACE back!  With the help of our NHS world language students, learn to write a message in a different language to send to students across CT.  Your heart will be distributed at the CT COLT World Language Rhyme Celebration held at the Academy of International Studies Magnet School in Danbury, CT on March 21st.

Dates and locations where you can make your heart:

February 14th 3:00-6  Healing Newtown Arts Space (next to Caraluzzi’s)

February 24th 12-5  Town Give-Away at Reed School

Can’t make the dates above?  You can make a heart at home and drop it off at your elementary or Reed school office.  A phrase list is available upon request.

They call all folks in local area and alert (I've already gotten a call!); then they send faxes out to vets and animal control in surrounding areas. You can contact me or Laura Dorr on FB. The contact phone number provided via lostmydoggie.com is: 203-942-4008.
