After the events that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the Hopkins Mariner Swim Team (HMST) is hosting a BREAKout! Swim Clinic, with all proceeds going to the "My Sandy Hook Family Fund." The clinic will feature four athletes: Olympians Anthony Ervin, Kara Lynn Joyce, Kim Vandenberg, and USA National team member, and CT native, Madison Kennedy.
The clinic will take place this Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 1-5pm. Along with spending the day with these athletes, both in and out of the pool, all children will receive a goody bag which will include a T-Shirt, 2 DVDs, poster, and notebook.
HMST would like to extend their sincerest condolences to all those affected by this tragedy, and would like to invite swimmers in Newtown to attend free of charge.
