"Small World" is a hit! Gets rave reviews

The reviews are in for Fred Stroppel's "Small World" at Stray Kats.

Joanne Greco Rochman of Republican American & Hersam Acorn Papers calls it "... a winner with a long and happy future. Katcher's signature is apparent throughout the strongly unified production. It is as classic as it is distinctly clean and uncluttered. She also managed to cast two actors who are simply perfect for the roles they play..."

Julie Stern of the Newtown Bee says it is "...cleverly unique" with  "two rousing performances from Equity actors Scott Bryce as Walt DIsney and Robert Resnikoff as Igor Stravinsky."

"Highly entertaining... a welcome break from the painful realities of the last four weeks...Stray Kats shows itself to be one of the many things that our town can be proud of, and it is definitely worth supporting."

Kelly Monoghan of Disney fan-site Jim Hill Media says "Small World" is "a gentle reminder that the world can be a better place and that, yes, it is possible to have magical days. " "If you are within driving distance of Newtown, do put this show on your calendar.

A comedy about imagined encounters between Walt Disney and Igor Stravinsky, centered on Disney's use of Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring" in the groundbreaking film "Fantasia", "Small World" is quite simply a treat.

Two-time Daytime Emmy winner Scott Bryce stars as the iconic master of animation, Walt Disney. Best known for his role as Craig Montgomery on "As the World Turns", Bryce has appeared in over 50 films and TV series including last season's "Homeland" and this season's "Deception".
