Newtown's 6th Annual Earth Day Festival is Saturday and you just gotta make plans to join us for an outstanding day celebrating the earth!

From a huge line-up of kids' activities (including The FunArt Bus), a Silent Auction and litter pick-up to live music/performances, Birds of Prey exhibit, T-Shirt Tie-Dying and tons of tasty food, the festival is the place to be for helping our community become a bit more aware of being "green."

With proceeds continuing to support our  “green” scholarship for Newtown High School  graduates, we hope everyone can stop by to lend their support. Please help pread the word by passing this e-mail to your friends!

Clean Town with The Lions Clubs “Lose the Litter”
Join your friends and neighbors to clean up Newtown’s streets. Special prizes are hidden around town and your team may be the lucky crew to win one as you “tackle the trash!”

Bid on Our Silent Auction Items
Our third annual Silent Auction has a huge variety of items this year, including dinners, composters, books, jewelry and art.  Bring your checkbook and be prepared to outbid your neighbors and friends!
