C.R.O.P. HUNGER WALK

CROP Walk:

On Sunday, Oct. 20th, you are invited to join families
and individuals from Newtown who will be walking in the CROP Hunger Walk. The
walk will take place in Fairfield Hills and will begin at the Newtown Youth
Academy at 2:00PM.

Funds raised by walkers support the efforts of

Church World Service to overcome hunger and poverty within our own local

communities and throughout the world. CROP (Communities Responding to Overcome

Poverty) Hunger Walks are an initiative of Church World Service, a cooperative

interfaith ministry working to eradicate hunger and poverty and promote justice

and peace globally. The walk is a community-wide event organized by many of our

local Newtown faith communities.

All are invited to walk to overcome hunger and

poverty - one step at a time by participating in the walk with your friends and

neighbors. For more info and/or to get a sponsor form contact Newtown Congregational Church office 203-426-9024
