Collage Workshop - "Share Your Story"

With Meegan Foley

Meegan Foley has always felt the creative juices flowing.  During her school years, acting and being on stage was her passion.  As she matured, she got the writing bug and studied creative writing at Fairfield University.  Some of her work was published, most was not, as is often the life of a writer.  More recently she found collage and it's therapeutic, healing and freeing aspects.

In addition to working on her own collage work, Meegan also teaches "The Art of Collage" at the Fairfield Library.

Bring your inner artist.  The one you often suppress.   Leave behind your inner critic.  The one that claims that you lack any artistic ability.  Bring a developing level of confindence in your work, and an open mind.  All that is necessary is a willingness to get creative.  If you can cut or tear, glue or tape, then this is the class for you!

All materials will be provided.  The first hour and a half will be devoted to collage and during the last half hour we will share our work.
