BROOKFIELD - Have you ever wanted to see behind the doors of some of the most interesting houses in Brookfield?  Opportunity knocks with the upcoming Brookfield House Tour scheduled for Saturday, October 12, 2013.

As part of Brookfield's 225th anniversary celebrations, the tour has been  organized by the Women's Club of Brookfield. It includes a selection of 7 homes, both historic and modern.

Among them are a former one-room schoolhouse; a home featured in 4 decorating magazine spreads; the former Tudor castle-style home of famed author, Joseph Hayes; and the home selected by Money magazine to represent Brookfield in its recent article about the top 100 places to live in the United States.
