There will be a dinner
reception and comedy night to benefit Congregation Adath Israel and
the Parents Circle – Families Forum on April 26, 2014 at 115
Huntingtown Road, Newtown starting at 6:00 PM. The
Parents Circle - Families Forum (PCFF) is a joint Palestinian Israeli
organization of over 600 families, all of whom have lost a close
family member as a result of the prolonged conflict. This
event will include cocktails, dinner, a silent auction, presentations
by representatives of Adath Israel and the Parents Circle, and a
comedy show featuring nationally known entertainers Moody McCarthy,
Andy Pitz and Johnny Lampert.
Moody McCarthy is in constant demand at New York's very best clubs including Caroline’s Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club and The World Famous Comic Strip. Moody has appeared on CBS' Star Search, The MSG Network, Comcast’s Comedy Spotlight, The CBS Morning Show, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, NBC’s Last Comic Standing and most recently on CBS’ The Late Show with David Letterman.
Andy
Pitz is a regular at New York’s best
comedy clubs including The World Famous Comic
Strip Live, The Comedy Cellar and
Dangerfield’s. On
television, Andy has scored spots on The Late
Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson
(2x) and as a winner on Star
Search on CBS.
Andy has also worked in Atlantic City and
Las Vegas where he has
worked with numerous national acts including The
Doobie Brothers.

Johnny
Lampert is a regular at New York City’s and Los Angeles’ best
comedy clubs including Carolines on
Broadway, The Comic Strip and
The Improv. His
television appearances include: MTV,
A&E, NBC, HBO Comedy Showcase, Comedy Central and
most recently on AXS TV's Gotham Comedy
Live! Johnny
was named Best Act by The Montreal
Gazette for
his appearances at Montreal’s Just
for Laughs Festival.

Robi Damelin and Bassam
Aramin for the Parents Circle–Families Forum.

The
event will begin with cocktails and a silent auction at 6:00 PM, with
the speakers at 7:30 PM, followed by a catered dinner at 8:00 PM and
the comedy show at 9:00 PM. Young adults and children will have a
separate dinner and entertainment in their own chaperoned private
