When Rich Woycik casts his ballot today, his tax bill will be guiding his decision.
While the 30-plus year resident hasn't changed his party affiliation, he says how much he pays in taxes has given him reason to think about other candidates and what their positions are on taxes.
"That's a major influence in terms of how I'm voting," Woycik says.
He recognizes that change won't necessarily happen over night, but, he adds, "Hope springs eternal."
