Town Budget Passes, Education Budget Fails
Results from Newtown's second 2013-14 referendum.
While Newtown's 2013-14 town budget passed tonight, the school's budget didn't clear the threshold. Legislative Council chair Jeff Capeci says the council will meet next week to discuss the education budget further. The results:
