The tragic events are what the Bible describes as the 'last days.' 2Tim.3:1-5 "this know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come(KJV)" But there is hope that these events will never happen again. Revelation 22:1-4 promises "and death will be no more(Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible)"

This dispictable act has ripped my heart apart. Although I did not personally know any of the victims, I am grieving as though they are one of my own. Our whole nation is grieving with you. May God Bless you and help you through the difficult days ahead.

How can anyone continue to pray to god after he allowed this tragedy to occur? What is it going to take for people to open their eyes? You create your own destiny in this world.

Jerry K I've been praying for the parents and loved ones of the all the lives taken from them so needlessly. I hope that God hears there grief and stays with them until the pain passes from them. I hope that they have other family members that will be there to console them. May God watch over us all.

I would like to think that Newtown will be our last mass shooting but there will be others. We need to fix our gun violence problems in America now. When we have lost more people at home than we have fighting two long wars during the same time fame. than we have a problem. I could not think of a more fitting tribute to those lost in Newtown. Conn on 12/14/12 than to end this gun violence. I think God is telling us we need to take care of the problem !

I believe as a nation, we all have a plethora of emotions for the community and what you will be challenged with in the coming weeks. My thoughts and prayers are with all victims families and loved ones in this time of such sadness and disbelief. There are no words to express the sadness that comes to us as a Nation during this horrific tragedy. I want to express how very sorry I feel to the entire community of Newtown. You will forever be in my thoughts and prayers. I pray for you to find peace and comfort to help cope through these incalculable losses. My sincere condolences from Dudley, MA.

This is a perfect spot for this comment, it hopefully will be read by millions. There are to many guns in our country for gun control, even if our ignorant law makers address gun control or take our gun rights away from us there will still be millions of guns in the hands of criminals. When a shooting such as this has happened in our past many times the guns were taken from the persons own home or a relatives. If this woman had a safe all these innocent children and teachers would still be looking forward to christmas. So I say GUN OWNERS YOU MUST BE MORE RESPONSIBLE YOU MUST BUY A SAFE FOR YOUR GUNS AND DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO HAVE THE COMBINATION that will prevent a lot of accidents ( kids find there dads gun and play cowboys with there friends ) and will also prevent horrible days such as these for us to always remember. I'm still praying for all the family members who lost a loved one. May GOD bless your christmas. Jerry

God Bless these little souls who must be enjoying the best time with Jesus, but bless the teachers as well for all they did to save all they could. It can happen anywhere and anytime. I'm a mom with a teenager who wasn't raised with guns it knifes but does have mental illness. This could be my son as well. With Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, and severe Bipolar Disorder just to name a few. I've been at the end of his wrath so has been my youngest son as well. He doesn't think he's wrong the rest of the world is. I said all that to say, I don't blame his mother for not being a great mom, heck I'm a stay at home in your business checking your friends mom and look at what I face. So I am beyond sorry for all these lives. I pray I'm not the next mom of one of these killers. Lord, speak to the hearts and minds all over this world to drop to their knees and pray for peace today!!!!! I add please pray for mom's like us who do all we can including pyschiatry and trying to force drugs in him so that we may have the knowledge to keep our kids from being another one of these men. Lord please give peace to all the families who will suffer for the rest of their lives because of this man! Thank you Jesus for all you can, will, andal already have done. Love... Any Mom in the World

These little ones will be celebrating christmas with Jesus this year. They had so much to give and so much more ahead of them to experience. How sad that one sick person can do so much harm. They will be forever in our hearts and minds.

Im sooooo sorry and still hurting from this tragedy. I literally cried for about 5 hours. My mom told me in the car, i was BALLING!! I'm still crying and thinking how sad it is. I feel bad for the parents who just got their son/daughter good christmas gifts and now she will never get them. My friends cousins lost a friend that day. I cried especially when the two kids who died in the hospital said "Mommy all my friends are covered in blood and won't wake up" Sooo said. My prayers and love goes out to all of the people still suffering this tragedy. Love all of you <3<3<3<3<3
