God would never LET this happen to anyone. Man causes this to happen. Man(encouraged by evil) is the author of everything that is arrogant, sick and twisted. This is someone that has no concept of love or value for life. I pray that God is with all of you during your time of loss and in the coming days, weeks and even years ahead. He will keep His arms around you every step of the way and hold you up until you are reunited with your children and loved ones once again. Bless you!!

My heart goes out to all the families that have lost a loved one. The children are too young to have died such a horrible death, noone should ever have to go through such a horrible tragedy. You wonder why did he do what he did but noone may never have the answer to that only God knows why. Please everyone say a prayer for all those innocents lives that were lost on Friday. Diane

I must say I don't like guns, but believe we all have a right to own them. I don't think ALL guns should be available to society. I think all of these shootings are somehow related to the violence our kids are subjected to or allowed to play as a form of entertainment, like these video games. It lacks human interaction, separating them from reality, closing them off from the real world. These shootings can possibly be a way for these people to act out their "fantasies". I'm sure these guns have always been available but it seems as though lately it has become a reoccurring tragedy. Everyone asks "why?" . Look at what we are providing our kids with? A faithless, evil world and then wonder why?

From Parrottsville Tn, We send our thoughts and prayers to the families of the Sandy Hook Shooting. Even the families that were able to hug and hold their children after this evil horror. This will deeply impact them as well. The entire nation wishes to hug and be there for these parents but we know that their can't be anything to touch the pain in your hearts in this time. You are supported by your country and many prayers are continuously heading your directions. My heart truly aches for each and every one of you. May God hold you all tight in this time of loss.

As a Mother and Grandmother, I am grieving along with so many millions of parents and good people the lose of so many. We do need to make our world a safer one for everyone, and if that means stricter gun control as well as movie and video censurship, this is what we as parents need to start discussing with your children. It is such a pity that young children in this country will grow up never feeling completely safe anywhere, a shame that kids much have doors to their schools locked behind them, and live in fear of strangers. Please stop saying we need God in our schools. There are religious schools if you want to send your kids to that, but public schools are open to all, and just like so many schools that won't allow a Christmas celebration, I agree that religion in Schools AND in politic's should be separate. Mike Huckabee is a danger man to even voice his opionion that taking God out of schools is responsible for this hateful crime. It was the act of one very disturbed man. We will find out more about him and what kind of life in the coming days and weeks, but first know that our hearts are broken and we need to hug those we love and help those in need of help and maybe if we loved one another a little more things like this wouldn't happen. Simplistic? perhaps but something needs to be changed.

The Devil and his angels are roaming the earth to devour and destroy, but someday soon Our Lord, and King will reign and there will be no more evil, heartache, or sorrow, only peace and love. Please do not blame God, because that is just what Saton wants us to do. God allows things to happen for His honor and glory, but He is very, very sad and He will not let this to go on too much longer! I pray that all will be prepared for the coming of the Lord! God be with the families of all of these precious souls.

no one can answer that.....because truly no one knows. //'some speak of "free will" these children did not have "FREE WILL". As for god giving his only son to save the world we give our boys everyday for the freedom of this country...please Wake up. We are here alone and need to protect our loved ones in every way possible. Did no one notice this person was sick, neighbors, friends, girlfriends? Brother? It would seem everyone just went on with their lives and ignored this SICK individual who ultimately took the lives of these children and teachers and then cowardly took his own.

My heart is heavy, My husband and I have cried since it happen on friday. Today at church my husband couldn't hold his tears. We have children and grandchildren and would never want to feel what you are all feeling. We pray for the familys of these beautiful children and teachers, staff and principal. May God wrap his arms around that whole community that is in so much pain. We ask God to give the family the strenght and peace that they need right now and the years to come. God will be with and comfort each and every person effected by this evil,but god can not stop evil from happening. No one can.

All this talk of how "god" in the schools would be helpful is ridiculous. The people who live in societies that have authoritarian religious systems don't fare very well. If you think "god" is the solution, try living in any of the countries where people are daily oppressed with someone's concept of a god. Regardless of what any opinions people may have about the issues, this is about mental health, gun control, and school security. Some theists want their cake and eat it, too. They'll say this isn't god's fault, it's about man's (non existent) free will - but then in the same breath, they'll say god in schools is the answer. Which is it? The cognitive dissonance is unbelievable.

I took this personally, because I work with kids and I have great nieces and nephews the same age as those whose lives were cut short. Something MUST be done about allowing firearms into our homes and onto our streets. I know it's a constitutional right to bear arms but, what about the right of a 6 year old turning 7? Or a 7 year old turning 8? Help us Lord! We need you now more then ever before. Help us to pull down strongholds and deliver us from the battle of our mind (Philippians 5:2) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. I ask in Jesus name. Amen. God is a loveing God and does not do bad things. We as humans do not know or understand why horrific things like this happen, but all I can tell you is that all those babies and adults are at the throne of God. I just pray that when that murderer stood at the throne of God, each and every one of those children were there with their Heavenly Father and that sick, murderous young man had to answer to them and to God. The Bible says we will all stand at that Throne and answer for our sins. All I can do is pray for peace and comfort for all the families that suffered these unbearable losses.

Evil forced his way into Sandy Hook 12/14/12. Evil killed 20 precious children and 6 heroic individuals who selfessly gave their lives trying to protect our children Thank you for all your prayers, we here in Connecticut hear and feel your prayers all across the country. We stand strong together! Lets not let these 26 people die in vain, speak out loud and stand up tall to our lawmakers. Parents get your kids help if you see something is wrong and for God's sake dont have guns in your home or anywhere they might just have access to them! God bless! Cheryl from CT.

God is not the author of destruction. He called his children home. God said, EVERY knee will bow in his coming. I have four children and cannot imagine this horrific news while I'm at work or anywhere. However, we all must remember this is not our permanant home this is borrowed time, and place....May God bless the families and communities so that they, may find comfort in HIS words.

So many right answers, God allows mankind to love one another or to murder each other, and some people choose the later. But rest assured those children are embraced in GODS arms and he loves them dearly and he is saddened that mankind chooses to kill one another. After offering flowers to neighbors who lost their loved ones, and at memorials ..I asked myself..why. God did bless man with a brain, and man used this brain to invent a device that is widely used to secure public buildings. In one Massachusetts town of West Roxbury, similar to Newtown, CT in audience and environment, they installed metal detectors inconspicuously in schools to help prevent individuals from entering with a concealed, armed weapon.

God is in the compassion and love of people who never heard of Newtown, CT yet travel hundreds of miles to support the town. God is in the healing, God is the love of firefighters traveling from far away to shield the grieving families from hate groups.

God DID allow this - because when he had the chance to destroy Lucifer, all he did was banish him from heaven and allow him to create Hell. Lucifer and 1/3 of the Angels went against the Arch Angels and Michael defeated his brother Lucifer.
God CREATED all angels - He could have had them killed, thus never allowing evil to exist. So in fact, this is ALL God's fault. Period.
