The public is invited to "celebrate the life and legacy of their precious little boy" Friday at Walnut Hill Community Church in Bethel

The memorial service for 6-year-old Dylan Hockley — one of 20 children killed Dec. 14 in a mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School — will be at 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 21 at Walnut Hill Community Church, 156 Walnut Hill Road, Bethel.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I send my prayers to your family. Jehovah our creator did not intend for us to die but that we should live forever, please be comforted in the words at Revelation 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more.

Dear parents, Dylan must have been a happy and smart little boy. I can tell from his picture he is very sweet and had a lot of energy. So cute! Just know that you're in my prayers. May God be with you at this time.
