There is no word yet on what roads or highways may be shut down for tonight's expected visit by President Barack Obama, Newtown police said this morning.
The president is scheduled to travel to Newtown to meet the families of victims killed in Friday's shooting and speak at an interfaith vigil at 7 p.m. at Newtown High School.
Closures may affect travel to and from the high school. We will keep updating this article as more detail comes in.
The high school is at 12 Berkshire Road/Route 34 (Washington Avenue)
Riverside Road remains closed from intersection of Route 34 (downtown Sandy Hook) to Cherry Street, as police continue their investigation at the school.
