ConnecticutGasPrices.com reported that the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Connecticut dropped to $3.98 this week, down 4.9 cents from the week before, according to the Norwich Bulletin.
The current average price is 16.3 cents less than and 27.1 cents less than . The national average has also decreased by 3.3 cents to $3.73, which is 16.5 cents less than last month and 20.3 cents less than last year.
Although gas prices continue to fall on the East Coast, Patrick DeHaan, a senior analyst at GasBuddy.com, is warning West Coast residents to expect increases leading up to Memorial Day Weekend because of "tight" supplies.
