Love and peace from Australia!

Dear Community of Newtown,

P.E.A.C.E. Inc. is an organisation in Bendigo, Australia. We are :Peace on Earth through Arts and Creative Empowerment. We heal the hearts of child survivors of war & terrorism through the creative arts.

The mass shooting the at Sandy Hook school was a war type act. We organised an art workshop here in Australia and many children came and they made home made cards with drawings and messages of support, love and hope for the families and surivivors of the school massascre. We also made a canvas mural. These will be sent to your town shortly for distribution to families and the mural can be hung in an appropriate place that the community decides upon such as in the Town Hall or school library.
