Sometimes when we are rushing through our busy and complicated lives we just plain forget to take a look around and see what we have right in front of us.
This past weekend we had some visitors from out of town and we found ourselves giving a little tour of Newtown. Our friends were just so impressed by the things that make this a great place to live.
We have the historic district, lakes,parks, the movies (record breaking bargain there),great hiking and of course some of the best ever ice cream choices.
Times are hard and people are working harder then ever for less. I for one am going to take time out and slow down to appreciate the home I have and the community I live in.
