My name is Deb Temple and I am the Infant/Toddler Assistant Director at Little Explorers of Newtown. I am thrilled to be joining the Newtown Patch by blogging about Childcare issues and Child Development. I have over 15 years experience working with the youngest children and I look forward to sharing with you what I have learned about these little learners.
The decision to put your child in childcare is not aways an easy one. In fact, for many it is a very difficult and confusing choice. How do you know which type of care is best for you? Home or center care? Nanny or group setting? My best advice is to do your research, visit a lot of places, talk to a lot of people, and above all else, follow your heart! When you find the place that's right for you and your child, you will know. The perfect place is one where you feel confident that your child is being loved and cared for in a safe, nurturing learning environment.
