CTV21 makes producing a series - easy

You're furious with the state of things, or you thrilled about something - either way - in a few short hours you could have a series on CTV21.

The steps to creating your own CTV21 series are simple. It starts with finding a few friends (4) who will work behind the scenes to make sure the picture is straight, the microphones are on and the titles are spelled correctly. They don’t need any experience; just one evening a month to help you knock off a couple of shows. In 2 hours they are back to their regular lives feeling good about helping you share something important with the community.

We don’t have a quota system here, if you plan on creating a series but only do three episodes…No problem.  Your commitment to us is completing and airing programs in which you have used CTV21 equipment to create it.  The only limitation on the number of programs you produce, intended for a series time slot, is the length of time you may hold on to that time slot. To maintain a series time slot we require at least 2 new programs per month.

Series program production is the easiest because you are creating something with a recurring theme that can be explored and expanded upon in a myriad of ways.  Setting up the credits and the style you choose to present the information will be the same each time.  The guests or objects used to present the specific aspect of the theme for each show are all that need change. In one preproduction session – Credits: Done!  - Program open/close: Done!  The rest is content generated by you conversing with your guests.

You don’t need be the host. A producer may invite someone to be the host and then control the content through that person. Not quite like channeling, more like a spokesperson for your opinion. This can free you up to oversee how things roll in front and behind the camera – true control!

Feedback is a popular desire of producers; when an audience member reaches back a producer knows their message was received and if it was understood.  Producing a series allows you to build a following from the regular time slot you will get, improving your opportunity to receive comments from the public.

Producing a series also helps develop a reputation for yourself in the community, that is, as long as you are nice to your guests.  When you are filling the guest chairs for future shows it will be easier because they will know what to expect and may ask to be on the show.

Still not sold? Give CTV21 a call and we start you off with a tour and consultation to see how your idea can work.

I remember years ago that not all of the information about the Kennedy death and assassination wouldRead More not be unsealed until 2017, so why not be able to seal the records of these deaths for the same amount of time?

To further support my support of Aurelia, the letter above states it was the New York Post thatRead More wanted the details. Good for you town clerk! I goggled the Connecticut Council on Freedom of Information and they are indeed nothing more than a non-profit group. They are not a government agency. And an inept one - their own website is a mess. What clowns.- http://ctcouncilfoi.org/

Town Clerk Aurelia is already causing the town to needlessly spend money defending her derelictionRead More of duty: "An attorney representing the town, with the law firm Cohen and Wolf, issued an opinion in response to the, (New York), Post's request stating that the public is only allowed to view death and marriage certificates that are "at least one hundred years old." Cost aside she is pushing for a state law that would restrict access to a minors birth certificate for 6 months, she originally wanted them sealed for 10 years. The only thing the proposed law is going to accomplish is the healing that has been accomplished is going to be undone when the seal expires. This is much ado about nothing. http://www.newstimes.com/local/article/Newtown-officials-withhold-death-certificates-4526713.php
