Angels of Sandy Hook CT - Can You Help?

A way to remember, and give back.

Once everything happened in Newtown, there was so much sadness, hopelessness, and anger all over the country. I continue to still get upset seeing all that has transpired. Not having children , but having a small niece and nephew roughly the ages of the children involved, it really hit close to home. It could have been any school, what if it were theirs? Having PCOS it will be difficult for me to have children in the future and there is a sadness that is involved there, so to see so many children taken just crushes me. I felt I had to do something even in my own small way to help, and fast. I  came up with an idea and enlisted my friend Jenny to help and it has been great! We came up with idea for an ornament to memorialize the fallen at Sandy Hook School. Our page is www.facebook.com/angelsofsandyhookct. Each ornament is between 3-4" in size, clear and has a singular white feather with glitter inside, and the school colors are tied in ribbon on top of the ornament itself. A tag attached reads "Sleep in Heavenly Peace" with a small sleeping angel on it as well as "To Be Remembered Is To Be Immortal". We have made up about 250 ornaments and each one is already going to its new home. But here's our problem. We cannot locate anymore clear ornaments in this size to finish filling requests. If anyone out there know where some can be purchased or if someone could donate them we can continue to raise funds for these families. This gives us a purpose, a way to cope, and a way to give back. These were all of our children here in CT. We hope we can continue to help these families and to never forget their loved ones. Thank you for any help you can give.
