I want to say thank you to the owners of Starbucks on Church Hill Rd . With all the controversy spinning out of control on Friday they did what was right for our community. In the best interest of our children they closed there doors at 4:30pm putting an end to the N,R.A having a rally of gun owner walking around with open showing of there weapons. Having 100 people walking around with guns exposed, TV crews lining the roadway and the spot light of the world watch us again. They did what was right and I applaud them. This was the last thing our children needed to see. The owners of the store will take some heat from corporate for doing that but they did what was right for our community and now have many more friends here in Newtown. They are true Heroes for standing up and doing what was right and in the best interest of our children.
