A Bead of Roses Expands, Holds Grand Opening

A Bead of Roses in Newtown, CT is holding a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, April 26th to introduce their newly expanded retail store and studio, and to thank their customers and the community for the part each has played in growing the company.

A Bead of Roses is a full-service beading supply shop, and also features classes, birthday parties, and a wide array of beautiful finished pieces for sale.

The new location, still at Plaza South, 274 South Main Street, Newtown, features a dedicated birthday party space, expanded jewelry class space, and more design tables throughout the store so that customers can unleash their creativity. An expanded selection of seed beads, new bezel-set gems, and more strands, books, and findings than ever are now available.

Additionally, the new space showcases A Bead of Roses’ handmade, artisan jewelry designs, which incorporate natural leather, beautiful semi-precious stones, and timeless freshwater pearls.

In 2013, A Bead of Roses launched A Bead of Roses Home Parties, and the new location will serve as the headquarters for the company’s expansion.

Managing Partners Lisa Rose and Traci Gentry are currently hiring home party consultants and booking home parties across the country. Consultants earn a generous commission, and women who host parties in their homes earn complimentary jewelry.

Says Rose, “Becoming a home party consultant is a path to increased financial flexibility for women at all stages of life.  Whether you are purchasing your first home, paying for braces, financing college educations, or ramping back into a career, we believe you can be successful as A Bead of Roses consultant.”

The Grand Opening Celebration will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, at A Bead of Roses, 274 South Main Street, Newtown, and will feature refreshments, a meet-and-greet with jewelry artists and instructors, and raffles, including a free class.
