They're Back! Holy Cow Ice Cream Shop Opening Friday

And they're kicking the season off with some new flavors.

Newtown ice cream fans rejoice: Holy Cow is kicking off a new season of your favorite treats on Friday, April 4.

The ice cream shop, located at 51 Church Hill Road, will open at 11 a.m.

Manager Jason Rabatin says they expect to roll right into regular hours, which would have them open till 10 p.m.

Rabatin says Holy Cow is kicking things off with some old favorites and a few new flavors. Among the offerings will be Father Bob, Luckie, Cinnamon Popcorn Chip, Walkers Dark Chocolate, Toasted Almond with Butterfinger.

We lived just 100 yards away.It was a joy for my father to come here with me and have a cone.I lost dad in 2011 at 87 years old , I encourage everyone to go with gram or gramp for a treat.These memories will be with you for a life time.god bless,sean

Speaking of prayers, I pray they rethink having an ice cream flavor named after a priest. Don't get me wrong, Father Bob is an amazing individual, but this is a "Letterman Top Ten" in the making.
