The Morning Routine At CrossFit Hookd in Sandy Hook

How do you start your morning? At the new CrossFit Hookd location in Sandy Hook, they're beginning with handstands, push-ups, stretches and lifting -- and that's just the start.

Patch dropped by CrossFit Hookd on Turnberry Lane for a morning workout routine. Co-owner and kids' program director Lauren Milano says she wants the location to be a "family place," along with her co-founders Nathan Blew and Nicole Montello.

"We all Crossfitted together in Danbury and became really good friends," she says. "We love everything about Crossfit and wanted to bring that to Sandy Hook."

The location opened at the beginning of August, but they'll be hosting their grand opening -- and first fundraiser, Barbells for Boobs -- on September 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All money raised is donated to breast cancer detection services.
