Masonicare Hosting Annual Summer Picnic For The Newtown Chamber

Chamber members will celebrate the end of the year with an inspirational menu!

 

NEWTOWN, CT September 17, 2012 – Masonicare at Newtown will host its annual picnic for the Chamber of Commerce of Newtown on Wednesday, September 26, from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at 139 Toddy Hill Road in Newtown.

This casual networking picnic continues to remain a favorite among Chamber members. John Sweeney, Administrator of Masonicare at Newtown and Peter Francis, Director of Assisted Living at Lockwood Lodge will address the group and answer questions about the facility. The catering staff will be serving a selection of delicious picnic foods including: a fresh shrimp cocktail, fruit, cheese and crackers, creamy potato salad, fennel slaw, grilled chicken, seasoned burgers, ¼ pound franks, corn on the cob, home-style baked beans, and pineapple upside down cake. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the picnic amidst the beautiful surroundings of the outdoor patio.

There is no charge to attend this event and will occur regardless of weather conditions.  Please RSVP to Alice Baye at the Chamber office, at 426-2695 by September 24th.

Masonicare’s out-patient rehabilitation services have been providing needed rehabilitation services to the community, residents and employees for several years. The combination of existing services and continuing growth will allow Masonicare at Newtown to better serve our local community. Masonicare is again honored to be sponsoring the annual End of Summer Picnic for the Newtown Chamber of Commerce.
