Hawaiian Culture and Dance Comes to Library

For an hour, the lower level room of the C.H. Booth Library played host to hula classes.

The C.H. Booth Library invited Tiare Kahana of Southington to give a one hour interactive class on Hawaiian culture, including hula dancing to children 4-years-old and older on Wednesday. The children learned about how every hula dance tells a story, and even learned some hula moves in the process. By the end, the children looked beat.
