The Art of Writing About Art

Co-sponsored by the Housatonic Valley Cultural Alliance and Western CT State University

This writing workshop, presented by arts writer and administrator D'lynne Plummer, will provide tools to help artists craft their statements, biographies, descriptions of their work, and turn points of view into media-ready pitches.

Participants will review artist statements that really work, exercise writing muscles, and understand when it's useful to put artwork into words.
