Second Company Horse Guard Photo Exhibit

The 2nd Co. Governor's Horse Guard (2GHG) will present to the Newtown Municipal Center-Town Hall, a panoramic photograph of 2GHG on canvas, and an additional photograph of 2GHG riding to the State Capital Building in Hartford created by photographer Marleen Cafarelli of Photo Art Works in Newtown.

These two photographs of the 2GHG will be permanently on display at Newtown Municipal Center. Following this ceremony there will be a display of Marleen Cafarelli's week long Photography Show featuring the 2nd Co. Governor's Horse Guard, and their events.

The 2GHG is an all-volunteer state militia unit, originally formed to attend and escort the Governor. As an active Cavalry Unit, 2GHG serves the Governor and the State of Connecticut at the direction of the Connecticut Army National Guard.
