Joe Stelutti, tenor sax   Dave Childs, piano   Bill Crow, bass   Roger Post, drums

Joe's elegant sound is reminiscent of the three, great, swing tenor-saxmen: Coleman Hawkins, Ben Webster and Lester Young, and Joe has chosen to do a musical tribute to these great players. A graduate of Manhattan School of Music, Joe also earned an M.A. from Lehman College and studied jazz improv with Lennie Tristano. He has performed with Frank Sinatra Jr., Ray Charles, Manhatten Transfer and Frankie Valli, and has played in the big bands of Larry Elgart, Jimmy Dorsey, Al Porcino and Harry James. He is currently on the faculty of the Lakeland School District, Shrub Oak, NY.
