Lucretia Mott, Quaker abolitionist and suffragette, along with John and Abigail Adams will be portrayed by reenactors featuring important events of the period. Also choirs of the St. Marks AME Church and the Macedonia Baptist Church will be singing a medley of favorites. This event is sponsored jointly by the Newtown Historic Association and the Newtown Library Company for the enjoyment and education of the community.
