The Flagpole Radio Café will perform this Saturday November 5 at 7pm, as scheduled. Guest artist Deborah Henson-Conant will not be performing, however her appearance will be rescheduled for the February 4th show. In the wake of the extraordinary weather event of last Saturday and the subsequent road closures and loss of electricity, there will be no admission charged for this event. This will be an open house at The Flagpole Radio Café, free to all who venture out in search of some much needed distraction and entertainment from this overwhelming situation.
Producers Martin Blanco and Barbara Gaines remarked, “Please join us for music, comedy, heat, flush toilets, and running water. We are all in this together and hope that a couple of hours of relief can bring some much needed joy to our town and the greater Danbury area. Thanks to the Edmond Town Hall Board of Managers for waving their fee so we can make this available to everyone for free.”
