Connecticut Master Chorale Concert



     The Connecticut Master Chorale, under the direction of Tina Johns Heidrich, will present a concert on Sunday, March 11, at 3pm at St. Rose of Lima Church in Newtown.

“Te Deum” are vibrant, passionate, and superbly crafted dynamic works that reveal the multifaceted talent of this prolific Welsh composer, who won awards and attention for his “Diamond Music”, used by the DeBeers Diamond Merchants, and “Adiemus”, which was used in a Delta Airlines commercial.

     The program will also include the “King of Kings Choral Suite”. The Suite, released in 2010, is majestic choral music created for one of MGM’s great epic films by Miklós Rózsa, the legendary Oscar winning composer, considered to be one of the “founding fathers” of film music.

     The Chorale will be accompanied by the Connecticut Master Chorale Orchestra and Joseph Jacovino, Jr. on organ.
