It’s September 1934, and the Cleveland Grand Opera Company has invited the world famous tenor Tito Morelli to perform Othello, his greatest role, at the gala season opener. This madcap screwball comedy has one, two, three, four, five, yes, that’s five doors on the stage with a dizzying plot about Tito the ailing Italian tenor, his jealous wife, a sexy soprano, a scheming impresario and his mousy factotum with dreams of opera stardom.

It's the classic farce situation -- disaster; denial; recovery; complication; catastrophe – slamming doors and mistaken identities, the split-second collisions of purpose, and confusing double entendres. This adult farce has left audiences from Broadway to London's West End teary-eyed with laughter. Lend Me a Tenor, a seven-time Tony Award nominee, deftly blends slapstick humor and zany situations with classical opera.

Lend Me a Tenor is presented with direction by Ricky Altamirano. The cast of eight from in and around Fairfield county includes: Sarah Giggar (Easton, CT), Khallid Graham (Bridgeport, CT), Karen Hanley (White Plains, NY), Gina Lariccia (Bridgeport, CT), P.J. Morelllo (Greenwich, CT), Maggie Pangrazio (Fairfield, CT), Kevin Pelkey (Beacon Falls, CT), and Tony Republicano (Bridgeport, CT).

Exactly why do you need to read these reports Elmer Davis? The cause of death was gunshot wounds.Read More Why do you need more than that, and why do you feel your curiosity for details outweigh the need for privacy? I agree with Aurelia and support her. You're acting like the Connecticut Council on Freedom is a government agency. It is a non-profit foundation and the quote from James Smith is only an opinion. It certainly does NOT carry any more weight than anyone else's, including mine, the victim's families, and the vast majority of decent people living in this town.
